About Us

The association was founded on 30^th September 2022, counting more than 60 members at the beginning of the year 2025. Membership is individual, yet the reach of the congregation activities spreads over their families. Meetings and gatherings are held in the premises of local community  “Sonja Marinković” building where children, parents, association members and guests spend some quality time together.

Our goal is to present ourselves to the public as an association in order to emphasize and try to solve practical and everyday problems of persons with autism in their environment. Also, we  feel  the need for moral and emotional support in a world that still does not realize the number and variety of difficulties we face, like insufficient education of general public about autism spectrum disorders.

We are well aware that the introduction of children and adults with autism in day to day activities  public domain is difficult, but with our activities, we try our best to enrich their quality of life.

In less than a year, we have organized multiple creative applied arts workshops, panel discussions on nutrition, puberty, and sports activities. We have also organized the celebration of World Autism Awareness Day in cooperation with Ultra Café. From other activities we managed to organize a trip to nearby village Belo Blato, and visit “Lujza” Farm and nature reserve “Carska Bara”. In addition to the above we have established some cooperation with local government, special school “9. May”, other  associations within the Republic of Serbia, as well as companies and generous individuals from our city, district and other places.
